Getting Here

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is the nearest airport to Elmendorf Air Force Base by plane, located about 14 miles from the base. There is no shuttle service from the base, so arrange to have your sponsor meet you at the North terminal. Taxis are available from the airport. Get a receipt to submit when you begin in-processing at Elmendorf Air Force Base.

If arriving by car, Elmendorf Air Force Base is located off of Glenn Highway, Alaska Highway 1. Take the Boniface Parkway Exit and turn right at the light to enter the base at the Boniface Gate. The gate is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
