There are no DODDs schools on the base. Students who live on base at Elmendorf Air Force Base will attend school in the Anchorage School District. Registration is normally in mid-August and parents need to bring immunization records along with birth certificates and social security numbers in order to enroll students. Proof of a physical exam will also be required. Charter and private schools are available as well as home schooling options.
